I am joining the Seabird Oceanography Lab to coordinate a census of Caspian Terns within the Pacific Flyway. I have had a diverse set of jobs since I graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology. Everything from environmental education, backcountry canoe & kayak guiding in Northern Wisconsin, fieldwork on a statewide sampling project of snowshoe hares in Colorado, assisting and filming an expedition down the Mississippi River to study microplastics distribution, trail construction with the Washington Conservation Corps in and around Olympic National Park, whale-watch guiding within the Salish Sea, and spending a year studying fruit bats in Madagascar. I am also a passionate seabird enthusiast and bird photographer.
